Izzy graduated from the University of Nottingham in July 2026 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. During her studies, she completed a range of externships in equine hospitals in the UK, as well as at Avenel Equine Hospital in November 2025.
Alongside her clinical training, Izzy gained international experience in wildlife and charity veterinary medicine. She worked in Limpopo, South Africa, where she developed practical skills in wildlife conservation medicine, and in Luxor, Egypt, with Animal Care Egypt, providing charity equine and small animal medicine and surgery while supporting local animal welfare and community education initiatives.
Izzy has a particular interest in neonatology, youngstock and foal medicine and is delighted to have joined the team as an intern for the 2026 breeding season.
